How do I rate a food item?
To rate a food item, first sign in to your account. Then navigate to the food item you want to rate and simply click thumbs up or thumbs down to indicate whether you recommend it.
What is a Connoisseur?
A Connoisseur is a verified food professional or expert with a public profile on arches picks. Connoisseurs can showcase their expertise, list their businesses and services (like food tours, cooking classes, or restaurants), and build a following. Their recommendations carry more weight in the community.
How do I become a Connoisseur?
You can apply to become a verified connoisseur from your profile page. The application process is for food industry professionals like chefs, food critics, culinary educators, tour guides, and others with food expertise. Once verified, you can promote your services and grow your audience on arches picks.
Can I add a new food item?
Yes! If you can't find a food item in our database, you can add it yourself. Sign in, click 'Add Food' in the navigation, and fill in the details including the food name, restaurant/location, and category.
How does the search work?
You can search for food by entering a food type (like 'pizza' or 'sushi') and a location (like 'NYC' or 'Tokyo'). arches picks will show you the highest-rated options matching your search.
Can I change my rating?
Yes, you can change your rating for any food item by visiting the food's page. Click the opposite thumb to switch your rating, or click your current rating again to remove it.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from your Profile page by clicking 'Delete Account'. Alternatively, you can email archesapp.maponos@gmail.com with a deletion request. See our Data Deletion Instructions in the Legal page for more details.
What data do you collect?
